This weekend sees a festival of sport for GAA followers in Kilkenny. On Sunday Galway are visitors to Nowlan Park for Round 3 of the Allianz Hurling League. With both teams on 2 points the winners can take a giant step towards Quarter-Final qualification. Kilkenny supporters will have been buoyed by the recent display against Tipperary and will be relishing more of the same. The Allianz League game will be preceded by the eagerly awaited Leinster Senior Colleges A Hurling Final between Kilkenny CBS and St Kierans. This game throws in at 12 noon and will be well worth the early attendance. Discount tickets for the double-header are available at usual Supermarket outlets at €10. Under 16's are free. Admission on the day will be €15 and €10 Pensioners/Students.

Next Saturday sees Kilkenny's second Senior Hurler's Race Day in Gowran Park. Last year's event was highly successful with both GAA and Racing fans mingling with the players at the popular Race venue. This year's event promises to be even more successful with a top line up of races on the card.
Tickets for the day are available from every club in Kilkenny and with admission a mere €10 and under 16's free this is a great opportunity to support the senior team and at the same time have a great family day out. There is also a great family prize on offer with day passes to Tayto Park and overnight accomodation at Pillo Hotel Ashbourne.
