County Senior Football Final This Saturday Evening

Last weekend was a great one for Kilkenny Football and it is probably fitting that the  J J Kavanagh & Sons Senior County Final between great rivals Railyard and Muckalee rounds off the week. Many of the team that captured the British Junior Football Championship will be in action in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening - throw in 7pm. Last weekend also O'Loughlin Gaels won Division 6 of Feile Peil and Danesfort reached the final of Division 10. And in a recent Primary Schools Blitz in Nowlan Park involving Wexford, Carlow, Laois and Kilkenny two Kilkenny teams reached the final and this was the third year in a row that this happened. It was also heartening to see the enjoyment our under 10's had when they played football on the occasion of recent Festival of Games in Nowlan Park. Admission to Nowlan Park on Saturday evening will be just €5 with Ardán De Gras side only open
