Kilkenny’s senior, intermediate and junior champions claimed an incredible treble in Leinster titles this weekend. Junior champions Dunnamaggin got the ball rolling in Nowlan Park on Saturday with a 3-17 to 1-11 win over Meath champions Na Fianna. Graigue-Ballycallan continued this winning run by seeing off Portlaoise GAA, to claim the Leinster intermediate title. The margin of victory was eight points, 2-17 to 0-15. On Sunday the treble was completed when Ballyhale overcame the Dublin champions Ballyboden/St Enda’s in Netwatch Cullen Park in what were at times terrible conditions. The scoreboard read 2-21 to 0-11 at full time. All three teams will go forward to the All-Ireland semi-finals in the new year.
