Junior B League Final (South)
Kilmacow 1-16, Rower Inistioge 0-11
Kilmacow proved a somewhat tougher nut to crack than the Rower Inistioge expected in their Junior League Final in Thomastown on Wednesday last. The conditions were certainly not conducive to fast, controlled play, rather the slippy surface, and the slippier ball made control a bit of a lottery. The Kilmacow lads seemed to handle the conditions better, and one could suggest that such abilities were the obvious difference in the winning and losing the game.
Kilkenny 4-24 Laois 1-13
A huge crowd turned out on a bright showery evening in O’Moore Park Portlaoise on Wednesday evening to see the home side in their sixth final.
For Laois it was their first appearance since they met Kilkenny in 1990 as they sought to emulate the achievement of their 1983 side that took the provincial title on a 3-13 to 4-8 victory over Wexford. Early arrivals to the grounds.............Read More

Leinster GAA Hurling Championship Final: Galway 2-21 Kilkenny 2-11
Galway claimed a historic first-ever Leinster GAA Hurling Championship title with a remarkable win over Kilkenny at Croke Park on Sunday.
Kilkenny were bidding for an eighth successive provincial title, but the Tribesmen enjoyed a stunning first half, totally dominated after Joe Canning hammered home a third minute goal.
Galway raced into a 1-6 to 0-0 lead with Kilkenny taking a full 20 minutes before Henry Shefflin finally hit their first score of the game.
O'LOUGHLIN GAELS JUNIOR B's ARE NORTHERN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
The O'Loughlin Gaels Junior B team retained their Northern Junior B League title when they beat Danesfort in a well manicured Clara GAA grounds last Friday evening.
The losers started the better and were two points to nil up after four minutes

Galmoy 6-20, Fenians 2-2
A strong second half performance, when aided by the breeze, saw Galmoy record a good win over The Fenians in this Roinn D U-14 League Game in Galmoy on Monday evening June 25th 2012.
The Johnstown boys dominated the early stages of this game and went into an early lead as a result.
