The O'Loughlin Gaels Junior B team retained their Northern Junior B League title when they beat Danesfort in a well manicured Clara GAA grounds last Friday evening.
The losers started the better and were two points to nil up after four minutes

Kilkenny County Senior champions O’Loughlin Gaels booked their place in the showpiece AIB All-Ireland club hurling final in Croke Park on March 17th thanks to an excellent second half display which saw them register three goals in the final 20 minutes. They led by just three points at the end of a dogged first half, but stepped up the pace after the break and Peter Dowling, Danny Loughnane and Alan Geoghegan struck the goals that proved decisive.................
Successful Day for Kilkenny County and Club Teams
It was a successful day all round for Kilkenny teams as the County Senior side secured a place in the Walsh Cup Final by defeating Laois on a 3-16 to 1-9 scoreline.O'Loughlin Gaels secured the AIB Leinster Senior Club title overcoming Oulart the Ballagh of Wexford with a late surge while Dicksboro and John Lockes qualified for the AIB All Ireland Intermediate and Junior Club Finals.
