A storming final five minutes saw Galmoy edge the issue in this All County Junior Hurling League Quarter final over Piltown in Kilmanagh on Tuesday June 19th 2012.With five minutes remaining Piltown led 0-12 to 1-7 and seemed set for their second victory of the season over the Northerners. However Galmoy don’t give up easily and fought to the end.

Piltown started their junior league championship campaign in good style with a 0-15 to 0-9 away win over near neighbours Kilmacow. This win was hard earned as it was Kilmacow who opened the brighter with early scores from a Richie McNamara free and one from play, courtesy of Johnny Hayes who provided real early threat for the green and whites. Luke Harney and Brian Fleming set the tone early on as they set about their business with dash.
