Leinster Qualify for Provincial Final
In the M.Donnelly Inter Provincial Hurling Semi -Final played in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny on Sunady the Leinster team led by Jackie Tyrrell and featuring eleven Kilkenny players defeated Munster by four points in a competitive tie where they led by nine ppoints at half time and had to overcome a Munster rally that reduced the lead to two points approaching the final whistle. The side now meet Connacht in the Final.
