Kilkenny GAA has organised two Information evenings next week aimed at Club Officials involved with registration, text messaging and generating team sheets. It will be a refresher course for those already involved in using the Servasport system or for new officials who would like to learn system for the first time. We would also hope to touch on Socila Media in the Club and a little bit about score updates. Ideally the Club Secretary and PRO and/or the person involved in IT in your club should attend. Carlow, Westmeath, Wexford, Wicklow, Kildare and Kilkenny competed at the Leinster Scór na nÓg semi-finals in front of a large crowd in O'Loughlin Gaels GAA Club. The Kilkenny representatives were Emily Walsh from Lisdowney in solo singing, Slieverue in Tráth na gCeist and Lisdowney in the Instrumental Music competition. Other competitions were Céilí Dancing, Recitation, Ballad Groups, Novelty Act and Set Dancing. Irish Officer Séan Breathnach was the Fear an Tí.

Two goals in each half proved the main difference between the sides as "The Fenians" secured their first under 21 "B" title in the grade since 1997 when they caught up with a Kilmacow side who had a dominant spell of play early in the second half to eventually win by 4-10 to 1-14. Following the quality of the drawn tie before Christmas, a great crowd attended Sundays replay that was played in a splendid conditions in Johns Park. On the ocassion they were again well rewarded with a fast, free flowing, competitive and entertaining tie that was refereed by Jim Fitzgerald. Photos
