52 teams participated in our All Ireland Fund-raiser at Gowran Park on Tuesday. The course was in excellent condition but the strong wind made scoring difficult. At the presentation, County Board Chairman Ned Quinn thanked Gowran Park for making the course available. He also thanked sponsors City West Hotel and Flynn Group Hotels for the great prizes which were on offer.

Despite the rather cool conditions all those who attended the 4th Annual Race Day at Gowran Park last Saturday had a thoroughly enjoyable day. For many the highlight was meeting the 20 winning All Ireland captains. The under 12's and under 14's really enjoyed the Long Puck Competition the final of which was held on the finishing straight after the 4th race.
